Presentation to Sons of Norway in Fergus Falls MN Monday Sep 11

Greg Isola is very pleased to be travelling to Fergus Falls MN on Monday, Sep 11 to be presenting at the invitation of their local Sons of Norway organization, 7pm meeting, at the YMCA – 1164 North Friberg Ave. Fergus Falls, MN. The presentation will be “Kven: The Finns in Norway and Immigration to the USA” in commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the arrival of the first modern Finnish immigrant settlers in the USA.

Greg will be presenting further on the topic of this 150th anniversary on Fri Sep 22 at the Minneapolis Hilton in downtown Minneapolis for FinnFest 2017 and also on Sat Oct 7 at the Earle Brown Center for the Minnesota Genealogical Society’s 10th annual North Star conference.
